1-Can't think of something to draw? Try picking a simple object in the room to look at and draw. Often times things look better if you draw them from real life rather than from memory.
2-Do your paintings lack realism and life? Try picking a light source and creating highlights (A bright reflection where light hits the object the most) and shadows.
3-Are you creating art for yourself or someone else? Always make things that you believe in and that bring you joy. If your heart is not in your work, then it is going to show.
